Need help with after market stereo wiring!
I have a 1988 4Runner.
The front speaker wires (pink, purple, green, blue) and the constant (blue/yellow), accessory (gray), ground (brown) and illumination (green) are all on one wiring harness. That's it.
There is a second harness with white (rear right -), red (rear right +), black (rear left +) and yellow (rear left -), and a white/black wire which I don't know the purpose of, is this correct?
I found this and was wondering if it was right:
Car Radio Battery Constant 12v+ Wire: Blue/Yellow or Blue/Black
Car Radio Accessory Switched 12v+ Wire: Gray
Car Radio Ground Wire: Brown
Car Radio Illumination Wire: Green
Car Stereo Dimmer Wire: N/A
Car Stereo Antenna Trigger Wire: N/A
Car Stereo Amp Trigger Wire: N/A
Car Stereo Amplifier Location: N/A
Car Audio Front Speakers Size: 4″
Car Audio Front Speakers Location: Dash
Left Front Speaker Positive Wire (+): Pink
Left Front Speaker Negative Wire (-): Purple
Right Front Speaker Positive Wire (+): Green
Right Front Speaker Negative Wire (-): Blue
Car Audio Rear Speakers Size: 5 1/4″
Car Audio Rear Speakers Location: Side Panels
Left Rear Speaker Positive Wire (+): Black
Left Rear Speaker Negative Wire (-): Yellow
Right Rear Speaker Positive Wire (+): Red
Right Rear Speaker Negative Wire (-): White
I just don't want to hook anything up wrong.

Can you just use something like this? http://electronics-pluz.stores.yahoo...9hainoemr.html
This will make it plug and play.
The second harness you asked about is used for the rear speakers.

The main one was cut off...the rear speaker one was still intact.
I matched them up like it said above and I'm not getting any power. Where would the fuse be for the radio?

Check the fuse panel up by the battery under the hood. Factory fuse is not inline.
Makes perfect sense you lost your constant fuse since the wires were hacked up. If it was stolen they probably cut all the wire at once and therefore shorted the constant to ground, or it just shorted bouncing around in there.
Regardless, open the hood, look left and down behind battery and you'll be rockin in no time.

Hmmm....i thought that it was that Haz-Horn fuse.
Ummmm....have you tried replacing it rather than checking it? Maybe it was damaged up more where it isnt noticeable??
You sure that blue/yel wire doesnt have 12V+

the you have other problems obviously. try to trace the wire back. Maybe the thief yanked too hard and broke it back further.
Anything else not working that operated on constant. horn, dome, hazard, etc.
That fuse under the dash has power coming in and out? or is just the fuse good. If power is coming out start tracing it and look for something unplugged/cut/broken
