Fuses and what kind to use
Ok so i am hooking up a few things i want to have a on/off switch for
One is my Garmin Nuvi GPS
two is my Push button Starter
Three is 2 KC lights mounted on my roll bar.
Question is Can i run all of these to the battery with a switch in between or should i play it safe and get a fuse box and if so what rating of fuses should i use for each?

i would use fuses on all three, 30 to 50 for starter, 5 to 10 for gps and 20 to 30 for lights but make sure u do a relay set up for the lights, u can make your own fuse block set up or pick up one that is used for sound systems, and u can hook it all up to a relay that will turn on and off by the ignition or switch. so it would be wire off batt to relay then fuse block and then to each item.

dont kc lights have there own relays?
So battery-relay-fuse box- items
i was just gonna run Battery to the Fuse box then have the fuse block run whatever switches i want
And what do you mean i can make my OWN fuse relay set up ? was just gonna order a fuse box or something from autozone or painless wiring

they have wires that have the holders for the fuses built in, its usually 8ga wire and that is thick enough for what u are looking for, it sounded like u wanted to be able to turn off the fuse block when not using, that's why i was saying to do a batt to relay to fuse block.. if ur are not wanting to do that then i would do batt to fuse block. but u will want to run a relay for the kc lights any way u do it, if need i can draw up what im talking about.
