Electrical- lights

Thanks Elton for the quick response! I pulled them and they looked fine. I will pull them all again at the driver side left foot kick panel. I will check them for continuty with my meter. I also purchased a new headlight switch $55 from the parts store under their direction. I have taken the steering wheel off to get at the switch and the wiring harness. After carefully taking everything apart (especiallt the pins that are socketed into the wiring harness) and installing the new switch I am at the place I started. Everything except the running/parking lights-

many thanks again,

Eden

NO DASH lights either sorry. I have installed several things. Cig lighter for 12v power and a brake light kit for a trailer. The brake light kit is the no splice no fuss kind where the kactory brake light pig tails coupl into this new harness and the new harness provides trailer leads. The trailer light kit was 2 years ago at least though? Cig lighter was last December when I got Sirius.

Thanks,
Eden

Disconnect the last things you added and see if anything changes. Also, check the grounds for the running lights, front and back and then pull the bulbs and check the sockets and bulbs for damage.

Sounds just like what i experienced tonight, gonna try to check things out tomorrow, will come back to post if i can help.

My problem has to do with blowing fuses repeatedly. The tail light fuse blows after like 5 secs of having the lights on. Guessing it's a short, so we'll see.
