cargo light stays on on my 2000 tundra

cargo light stays on on my 2000 tundra
The cargo light on my 2000 tundra comes on when the doors of the truck open and I have to use the cargo light button on dash to shut off the cargo light...it will not turn off on its on. Any ideas on how to fix this?
