82 pickup wiring connectors

Where can I purchase original wiring connectors? I need a couple single wire connectors for my engine. Old one are brittle and falling apart from heat.

Which connector(s) are you looking for?

Most connectors for these trucks have been discontinued by Toyota, but some are available aftermarket, usually made by the company that Toyota sourced their connectors from. The hard part is trying to find the specific connector you are looking for in the series catalog of that type of connector. Then it is off to find a seller who will sell in small quantities.

Here is a picture of the 2 connectors. These fit sensors on the intake manifold. It would be nice to find USA sensors in the needed heat range that would utilize newer common connectors or even a spade terminal.

Do these connectors have a 5-digit part number on them?

Toyota usually has the last 5-digits of a connector part number on it somewhere.

To get the full Toyota part number add the prefix 90980 to the beginning of the connector part number.

I may have to do some digging to see if these connectors are available somewhere.

82 wiring

I'm just rebuilding mine. I have 1 completed with new wire and will do the other tomorrow. I found out it's really easy to pull the pin out, once you dig out all of the old hard rubber water seal. I used a gasket material to refill the cavity.

I’m trying to do the same with my voltage reg harness. Field mouse had a feast over a trip I had. Chewed through the whole thing. Cannot for the life of me figure out how to remove the pins. Any pictures to help out?
