I found a gun behind my passenger side rear panel. Its a Ranger .22 that breaks down and all the iron goes right into the stock. Pretty neat but its like a kids first gun.
I really don't like having a gun in my truck and not knowing it.

Just kidding...
Reminds me of the only time I've had a car searched. It was in Denver in 1981... in the middle of a heavy snowstorm. I had a loaded rifle with the safety on, within reach on the floor to my left along the doorsil.
They saw the rifle... and made no comment. I never considered that they would. In fact we were on a trip from California... to Illinois, then to Louisiana, Texas and back home. Just never thought about gun laws.
Just an anecdote showing how things have changed.

i found out that the seatbelts work and the chincy looking rollbar on the older 4-runners is actually quite sturdy and can save your life during a high speed "end over end" rollover down a hill into a swamp..

Aftermarket speakers (in stock locations). Alpine up front and Rockford Fosgate in the rear. Also, the rear spoiler is crooked. It's a little lower on the right side.

After finding out that the inside of the back window is difficult to clean on a 2nd gen 4runner i also found out that the cup holders are specifically placed where they are for coffee drinkers!! Anyone that's been driving around during a cold morning with the heat on thru the dash while your coffee was in the cup holder knows that your coffee cup is nice and hot from the heat blowing over it. My coffee is always hot and those people complaining that they're poorly placed on the dash aren't coffee drinkers, lol. Way to go toyota engineers!

bet that sucks ballz..LMAO..
I've learned that when the junkyard says it has a bad motor.......they are tellin the truth..lol..oh how lovely Rod Knock sounds..lmao
also learned that on MY 4runner (it has an alarm system..that i cant get figured out ) if the keys are in the ignition....and the doors are shut(the doors are UNLOCKED) and you shut the hood........the doors lock themselves..then ya gotta spend some time breaking back into it...while the alarm is going off..and wont stop..at all..
sure do wish i could get that alarm figured out..that way this doesn't happen again
Also learned that the 4runner has a kill switch thats tied into the alarm system...LOL

I found out that when you have the grille out, if you take all the clips out of the frame and put them into the grill FIRST, the grille goes in without breaking anymore clips!
