Newbie Question about IFS diff

This may seem like a weird question, but here it goes. What exactly holds the axle shaft in place for the 86-95 IFS? Is it just the c-clip that snaps into the 3rd member or is there more to it? I picked up an ADD IFS from a '92 and I need to swap the axle tube from my existing diff to this diff and I was wondering if there was something else I needed to remove? The Haynes manual is pretty worthless in this area and if anyone has a link to a diagram or a FSM for the 1st and 2nd gen 4runners would be much appreciated!

Thanks in advance.

The c-clip is it.

The axle stubs will pop right out, given the proper applied force.

Millball,

Thanks!

I wanted to say I found a link to an FSM for a 93 that helps shed some light on the diff. So my apologies in advance.
