I just run the regular headlights (w/ 55/100W H4 halogen bulbs):
and a pair of Hella 550 fogs under the front bumper (with some all-weather 100W H3 bulbs):
I wired the fogs to be independent of the headlights and often use the fogs and high beams in the back country. High beams throw a lot of light down the road and the fogs fill in to the sides. Combination works well, and can also run the fogs only off-road with no headlights. Works better in the rocks, the headlights shoot too high to light up in front and to the sides of the truck like the fogs do. I can also fold the fogs back up behind the spring hangers when in big rocks to keep from damaging them. I like to keep the fogs down low since they work better and it keeps the truck street legal. I used to run the fogs above the bumper and I found out they were a few inches too high to meet the CA vehicle code.
I like to keep the lights to a bare minimum and get multiple uses out of the ones I have.

Here's a shot of my 8 light set up
The roof lights are on a KCHIGHLIGHTER bar and are run in series they are 130 watts each
The lower 4 are on a Pro Comp Pre Runner Bar it was built to hold two but I did a little custom set up to fit the 4 lights they too are 130 watts each and run in series.
They are set up on two different switch's one for each set of light's I ran the wiring thru a relay to the battery back to the lighted switch's.
I also have 4 of the 55 watt HELLA light's from Cabala's mounted to the rear bumper for back up light's also set up on a relay back to the battery and returning to a lighted switch on the center console where the change thing used to be.

The headlights with PIAA bulbs and two Lightforce 240 Blitz's adjusted to wide beam. Would like to get some combo filters for them. I will never EVER have lights with glass lenses again. The abuse these have taken, plus the light output is AMAZING.

thats a lot of light! do you find your electrical system is able to keep up? how does the alternator do? any idea how many amps each set of four 130 watt lights is pulling (i.e. what size fuse are you running)? looks good...oh yeah, what kind of lights are they? thanks!

I've never been a fan of KC ... I would think if you paid for a higher quality light, you could use a lot less of them...
As for power if you're gonna run a lot of lights (IMHO rocklights are the worst offender), check out Boyle Future Tech to upgrade your alternator:

I had them redo mine after Molly had hers done, and it is AWESOME.

this is the 1900s compared to the 500s
this has been finished since the picture, it is less brown looking than it does in the picture. its a scrap of smoked grey plexiglass with the paper cover left on the back of it. the green is for the bumper and red for the top lights.
the 2 hella 500s on my bumper are 55w and the ones on the top are 100w. the hella/optilux 1900s are also 100w.
i really like the 500s and for the price they do pretty good. i wish i had left one on top with a 55w bulb in it so i could compare the brightness of the 55w to the 100 in the hella but either way they are bright as hell. the 1900s arnt quite as nice but much cheaper. like $22 each off porc and they come with 100w bulbs in them- great if you are on a tight budget and need lights, but if you can i would go for at least the 500s with 100w bulbs

Well I run them off a separate battery now (dual battery set up) and a stock alternator so yea electrical system has no problems keeping up with there draw. I have never really done a test to see what the draw on them is so no idea sorry but run a 30 amp fuse and relay with both Set's. The lights are supposed to be Kc's but after talking with KC they say they don't make a 130 watt replacement bulb so I am not sure what brand they are but I did find a source for replacement h4 bulbs. Hope that helps ya if you need more info just ask.

I ordered mine from summit racing. i think it was around $130. I like it, its actually pretty beefy for a light bar. One word of caution, mine was not a direct fit, even though its supposed to be. If your interested in getting one i can show you what i did to mount it.

I ordered a 150W Sealed beam off the website, and its not a KC bulb. Its a Wagner.
Another thing, if you can find out what the serial number of the bulb is you might be able to find it cheaper from like a light bulb warehouse (thats what i did). From KC $28 From Bulbs.com $13. Same exact Bulb!
