Gasoline sabotage

I have been the victim of petty theft and breaking and entering 3 times now.

Some dickbag has stolen gas cans from my garage on 3 separate occasions. 2 times it was accidentally left unlocked (yes shame on me), the third time the door was forced.

I have purchased trail cameras to try to catch whoever is doing this. The local law enforcement is less than useful and sees this as a low priority.

I would also like to sabotage my next batch of fuel as a long term deterrent.

Can you guys suggest anything that would be hard to detect but would have dire mechanical consequences?

Sugar is a myth. I've heard bleach might work. I'll investigate all good suggestions.

Think things through once you have calmed down.

If your going to ruin your gas why even have it just go buy it when you need it.

Is it possible house hold members are doing the borrowing of things.

Maybe they did not need the contents just the containers.Paying $70.00 for the last two.

If you really want to do this a 60% water 40% gas will mess up any ones day

Thing to remember is when you pour this into your gas powered devices then have no clue why they just quit

@Crazy sugar doesn't dissolve in gasoline.

@Wyoming, definite burglary broken door jamb first time and broken hasp lock second time as well as not just gas gone but cans too.

There needs to be consequences. I will not remain a victim of petty crime that could escalate into more when my family's safety is concerned.

Bleach will work great and its cheap.

I'm all for it if the cops wont do anything but, you just have to worry about the perps then getting pissed and coming back for revenge.

i would guess Claymore mines are not an option ??

A big bear trap ??

IED`s ??

This happen when your gone while your working or at night when sleeping ??

Is your garage open that people walking past could case it and see what was inside ??

Then perhaps they saw you out cutting the grass or trimming the hedge

The sad fact in this day and age there are lawyers that would take a case trying to collect damages on you from a client who thought the liquid he stole from you was indeed gasoline and when dumped in his engine of choice caused x amount of damage

I would guess your in town or a neighborhood with other homes??

Any other break ins have you asked around ?

Something like this the people have to be caught in the act or with the goods .

I know people who have caught people first hand and held them to law enforcement got on scene depending just where this happens it plays out two ways .

The good way the suspects are put in the car and get booked.

The bad way the police are more interested in why the home owner felt these fine people were up to no good and feel it is their job to protect the guilty and inform them that their rights may have been violated .

If the home owners are armed just makes it worse.
