Anyone heard of Pro-tec oil filters?
Anyone heard of Pro-tec oil filters? I went to the parts store where I usually get Wix filters, but they only had Pro-tech for my Toyota truck. I am guessing it is made by one of the major filter company's just don't know which one. Until I find out it will be on my shelf collecting dust.

Yeah, used to sell 'em. They're wix's cheapy line....Jiffy Lube used to buy them from us when they were out of something.

I use wix on the ford and oem on the yota. 'Tween wix and protec though, stick to wix.
By the by, I wouldn't hesitate to use wix on the yota, either.
