which 285's for all year round use?
hey there guys, i am new to the site here. i have been lurking around for a month or 2 reading all kinds of info on lift and setups and whatnot, it seems like a very imformative site and i am excited to keep learning...
i haven't yet bought my 4runner but i am looking at a couple right now, an 01' ltd and a couple 02' badlands editions.... i am for sure getting a runner, i am just reading and researching about them first, i am moving from an 03' Jetta 1.8 Turbo so i know it's going to be quite different but i can't wait.
i plan to go with 4crawler 1" BL and diff drop kit, the LC coils in rear and am up in the air about the front, maybe tundra coils/spacers or OME or something, still reading on that, haha...
my question is what tires would guys recomend me getting?.. i am getting 285's but i live in eastern canada where we get a lot of snow in the winters and am just seeing what tire would be great for all year round because the last thing i want is to have to switch back the tires in the winter and ride around with a 4" lift on 265/70's.....ewwwww
thanks in advance guys

I am also pondering tires, but I think Im sold on the BFG A/T's. I used to have them on a work truck, and they rocked the wet clay and rocks like none other. They were quiet on the highway, and I have heard wonderful things about thier traction in th winter.
