YotaTech 2009 Calendar Voting Poll
#102
I don't know if there's any progress on the calender yet... we haven't heard anything since the voting ended.

Wish the voting period was a little longer as I don't live on here. Well, if it a calender of Toyota vehicle pics, I'm in like last year, If it's random personal pics of things that mean little to me, then I'm out. My 2-cents.

All the winners are picked already.
Steve will be getting a hold of you later for your full res pics.
We may be able to utilize more than just the main winners too, we are not 100% sure on that.
Steve will fill you in more later...

I believe Steve is working on that.
And...some of the winners backed out of having their rig in the calendar, go figure.
Next year the rules are going to be much tighter.

Update:
We are looking at a publisher for the calendar.
Most pubs want $$$ up front as they run the calendars in lots, and that means $$$ up front.
Just ask WabFab, he did it this way yesteryear for us, and then he had to mail them out individually, and that is a PITA.
We have one person working on the calendar, and I imagine he is spending time with his family during this holiday, so give him a break if you can.
I know Molly has her Women of YotaTech calendar lined up with Shutterfly, that may be an option with this main calendar.
We also ran into a few snags from a few members here who wanted in the calendar, then backed out at the last moment, and that alone caused a serious delay.
We are rather pissed off about that.
If we do one next year, it will get started in August so there is more time, and we will need help with this too from those who work with graphics.
I do not, so you would not want to see what my end result would look like for a calendar.
Also next year if you submit your pictures for the calendar and back out at the last moment, that is to bad, you submitted, you won, you are in the calendar, do not play games with us, grow up, and treat others like you would want to be treated.
I have received a few PMs on the calendar too, so this is why I am addressing this.
Give the guy a break who is working on this.
