1990 4runner 4WD/AT without warning one day shortly after I bought it it decided not to move in any gear. thought trans was shot but after sitting about 2 mos I was preparing to tow it to shop. Mechanic wanted to see the symptoms first hand so started her up, put in gear and oddly enough it engaged every gear perfectly as if I had imagined the whole deal! well, I drove it about a month w no issues then as before, it just wouldn t move in any gear one morning. I replaced a bunch of vac lines, changed trans fluid, etc and WOW I thought it was fixed cuz right away she drove perfectly- for about 6 wks- then there it goes again. I AM ABSOLUTELY BAFFLED!!! PLEASE SOMEONE HELP
