Sudden stall and still won't start 24 hours later...

Hey folks, I have a 91 4runner, v6. A good friend installed a new fuel pump just last Sunday; and last night, less than one week later, it up and dies on me. I was waiting to make a left turn and her dash lit up all the warning lights like flipping Christmas Tree and then nothing. No puttering out, just flat out died. Even now a full 24 hours later, turn the key and she tries her little heart out but just won't turn over. Anyone have any ideas what may be the cause? It may be unrelated, but the battery is only two months old, but when I try to start it the clock fades out...

So does it crank (turn over) fine but won't start? Or won't even crank?
If it cranks fine, I would be investigating that fuel pump again. If it was a cheap parts store pump, it's probably causing issues. But you should check for power at the pump (use the search function), and ensure you're getting spark and fuel. Then go from there.
If it won't even crank, look at getting a battery and verify the alternator is doing its job of charging.

It cranks, and cranks and cranks, but will not turn over. She was running so much nicer with the new pump, then out of nowhere last night this happens. Started right up at work, then about a block and a half later this happened...
