I have an '83 long bed pickup that I'm trying to get running. The PO cut the brake lines right where they enter the rear drum brakes on both sides. Do most people just replace this with flexible stainless steel lines? Is there anywhere that sells a hard line that is already prebent? Thanks for your help.

 

To old to get a new one at the dealer although one for a much newer truck should be pretty close

I have not looked for prebent lines because I have been making my own for years.

 

Just figure out the size and bend and fit your own. I taught myself how to do it in a matter of hours. It's easy and it's a pretty good skill to have.

 

I have a GM rear disc brake conversion and used Trail Gear's Toyota --> GM braided steel brake lines for my rear end. Looks nice and clean. I'm fairly certain that they TG makes something similar for stock Toyota brake setups.
