Problems with my clutch release bearing!
So I am doing the auto to manual swap on my 1995 V6 4runner. I have the automatic pulled and ready to put the manual in. I was installing the throwout/clutch release bearing and the spring that holds the fork in place is a pain in my butt. I have it on (what I think is the right way) but when I push the fork (as if it was the slave cylinder) after about 3 times the spring slides itself off. Any idea? When its all installed is this going to stop? im really frustrated with this so any help would be nice.

Your almost there...
The dog ears go on the other side of the clutch fork, then your springs goes from dog ear to dog ear with the fork. Your spring is a little different than mine, but here is a pic. I tried to zoom it in but failed miserably.
