Not completely Toyota related, but..car won't start
And this car is supposed to be getting me around town to get the parts to get my Toyota running!
My favorite Subaru forum has been down all week..
For a while now, my clock would reset itself every now and then. I just had the carb rebuilt, and after it came back from the shop, 6 times out of 10 when I start it up, the clock would be reset. The last couple days, I turn the key and it just clicks. I would think that means starter, but what's up with the battery? Tried hitting the starter with a hammer, didn't help.

Well, I guess the terminals were just really dirty. I had cleaned them off a bit with a toothbrush at work the other day, got most crap off (I thought), but didn't have access to baking soda at the time, and it still wouldn't start. Today at lunch I looked around but no loose grounds or anything so I got out the baking soda and water and actually dipped the wire terminals in it...maybe not a good idea but whatever. I waited for it to dry and it started right up! Thanks
