Loss of power on take off and going down the highway
First off a little info on my 4runner
I bought this about 2 months ago prior to me buying the 4runner it had sat for a year or more the only thing wrong with it was a cracked flex plate and the loss of power issue i just had the flexplate replaced and now i need to figure out why the loss of power. I am having power loss on take offs and when i get to around 70 mph on the high way
It seems that in order to keep my speed at 70 I have to have the gas all the way to the floor I don't know what could be causing this
I have the 3.0 with an auto tranny everything works fine the motor has no mis runs smooth and the tranny shifts great there is just no power for some reason when you take off or if it shifts in to passing grear it sounds like normal higher RPMs and speed increases but at the same time feels like i am going nowhere just so you have an idea pulling off of an exit ramp i may be at 55 or 60 mph it will take me at least 1/8 to 1/4 mile to get the 4runner to 70 mph
if anyone has any ideas as to what this could be please let me know

i was going to start with fuel filter and plugs but there are times when if i slowly let off the gas it seems to smooth out a little and pick up speed fine
