How to remove whole dash?
I am going to be replacing my whole dash with one that isnt cracked when I finish painting my interior. Anyone ever remove the whole dash? How many bolts? Where are they? What all connectors need disconnected? Please help me with this as Monday I am either buying this donor truck or am just gonna buy the dash. Any help is appreciated.

Its not that hard to remove the dash, ive replaced the heater core in two 86 4Runners and the dash has to be completely removed to do it. So removing the dash it self shouldn`t take more than an hour to an hour and a half.

It's not that hard. You'll need a philips, 10mm socket, and probably a flat screwdriver and pick.
Just look around and remove all the screws/bolts. If it doesn't come out easy, you probably missed one. You shouldn't have to pull on it too hard.
The only tricky part is the little bezel over the heater controls. You need to remove the right side first and kind of "rotate" it off, otherwise you will break it for sure.

Hey just an FYI, if you ever need to remove the dash pad, there is a hidden bolt behind the passenger air vent. You need to remove the air duct, and pull out the vent to access this bolt
