I have a 93 pickup and the years that the tacoma still hade the 7x6 headlights is there grill capable of just direct placement to swap over to a pickup?

Not a direct bolt on.
I was going to try it and gave up after I bought the tacoma grill and did a test fit. If I remember correctly, it was like an inch or two narrower overall then the pickup grill because the tacoma corner lights wrap around farther inward then the pickups. The headlight holes were too close together so when one lined up, the other covered a bit of the opposite light. The grill also had a bow to it which would have made the hood latch hard to get to. I'm sure it could be done with enough determination but it just wasnt going to happen over a weekend so i gave up.

Anyone ever tried to swap let's say a 1994 pickup grill onto a 96 taco?
