Expert Advice- VW AAZ 1.9 Conversion Prep

Hello!

I was hoping to get some great advice on selecting a 85-95.5 Yota pickup to do a conversion on. I'm mainly after MPG and was wondering if it would be possible/safe/worth it to pick up a 4x4 and disable/remove the rear drive shaft to get FWD...

Also I'm interested in the actual MPG ranges for standard cab vs extended cabs and 2wd vs 4wd from the community.

Appreciate your time!

Will

Not worth it. Parasitic loss is too much. If anything go the opposite direction.
