diff locks and little more

Good day you all. Im thinking about diff locking for my 1990 xtracab, i've been looking at grizzly and arb lock, what is recomented? And is 5:29 good for my 44" trxxus in snow and heavy gravel?

according to my gps vs. odometer readings, 5.29 and true 37" tires duplicates the factory gearing, so extrapolate from there.

Ok. If the speedometer is off by some km/h we just use a adjuster on the cable. Im just thinking if its stronge enough or will i break it the 5:29 diff ?

Mine is dead on in my 81 with 35's, 5.29's

my impression is that the gears get weaker as you go beyond 5.29, so that's a good place to gear it.

my speedo is off by ~4mph with the 37's, faster than i'm actually going(?) i think it was... i checked the odometer against a 1200 mile round trip to the rubicon, everything was very close, including the distance on google maps.
