Change gear ratio on dually 1 ton toyo axle??
Hello everyone
I have a 1 ton dually 6 lug Toyota floating axle on a custom truck w larger engine than it was intended for.
Its presently a 4.11 ratio differential..
how do I get it around 3.50 or LOWER??
please, any help would be greatly appreciated.
I need to lower my highway RPM drastically!

Have you read through those links above??
You remove the differential from the axle housing .
Either have the ring and pinon changed and set up on that differential ( Buy the ring and pinon gears your looking for)
By a complete differential with the gear ratio you seek!!
In both cases Install it back in your axle housing you have now changed you gear ratio.
About as simple as I can explain things
