audio system for my truck
i'm not sure if this is the right section or not, but i was just wondering if you think this is a pretty good audio setup that im getting installed in my truck.
well im getting a total of 6 sony speakers, 2x 4 inch speakers to replace the original ones in the dash board, 2x 6.5 inch speakers to go in the door, and 2 6x9 speakers to go in boxes on the back shelf of my truck (its an extended cab).
im going to have 2x 1600 watt Lanzar Max pro subwoofers to go on the shelf in another 2 boxes. a 1600 watt sony xplod amp to go inbetween the subwoofers and speakers. and i had bought a sony CD player for 150$ from walmart to replace the original radio in the truck.
so i was just wondering if im going to have a pretty good setup? does anybody else have something similar or have you used any of the above and have anything to say about it?
thanks

I had put two 4" tweeters in my dash and installed bass blockers to them. they sound awesome!
i've realized that you really don't need an amplifier for the speakers if you have a decent headunit... just equalize everything correctly and it should sound great!
