93 Toyota Pickup RC 2WD - Body Lift/Bumper Bracket Question [SOLVED]
Hello all my first time posting and cannot find a solution. I purchased my pickup used 6 months ago and shipped it over to HI with me recently. The previous owner(s) installed a body lift kit and I am trying to determine the amount of lift. I am guessing 3" but would like to know exactly. What is the easiest way to do this? I am trying to install the rear bumper with standard bumper brackets (previous owner just did the body lift install and took out the stock bumper/mounting brackets). Due to the body lift I need to install the additional brackets to match the body lift. Thank you in advance for your help and I will post pictures of my truck tomorrow.

Edited: See pics below. Measured the two nylon spacers and they are 3". Bumper bracket that needs to be modded included.

Called Performance Accessories and asked about what they recommend for the 3" body kits they sell to get 3" lift on the rear bumper. The answer I got from the "R&D Guys" (sales people are wonderful) was this:
"This is a drill modification. You will need to drill the frame mount holes 1.5" above the original mounting holes for the bumper bracket and 1.5" on the bumper side of the bracket to account for the 3" lift."
Don't know what this guy was thinking but based on the width of the frame it appears there is not even close to enough space on the frame to drill those holes 1.5" above the original mounting hole location or to get the inside bolts/lock washers on. Going to see a welder today but anyone who has done this before that would like to chime in, or has ideas, please do so I would greatly appreciate it. Mahalo ke akua.

Regarding the rear bumper, if I recall correctly, you will need to fab something up your self to get the rear bumper to match the body lift. What ever you fab up it does not need to be strong as the bumper and brackets fold up like aluminum foil if the contact anything any way.

Hit up Roger from 4crawler and see if he makes some rear brackets https://www.yotatech.com/members/101.html
