some hacked-up connections, ack
that black object that you first handled could be an added headlight relay(??), it's a common fix for toyota just follow the wiring to see where it goes.
the connection underneath the oil filter is i think for the oil pressure sender unit in the side of the block, looks like the wire for it is hanging out in your video, i wouldn't expect that it would be connected to the starter.
there is another wire to your starter, i can see it in the video, black plugin just above the power wire, follow it and see where it leads.
these toyota starters are super irritating because afaik there aren't any open connections on the starter itself, that you can use to manually bypass the solenoid on the starter.
