1994 Toyota 4Runner SR5 V6 4X4 Clutch Replacement

so i bought my 1994 4Runner with a sort of bad clutch and now that ive had it for almost a year now and after a few camping/off road adventures at Gorman ive noticed that my clutch is just about gone, im going to replace it no matter what, but i kind of want to do it myself, so basically my question is how hard is it to replace the clutch on a 94 V6 4X4 4Runner? any help would be greatly appreciated thanks!

Not bad at all. U will defiantly need a transmission jack, but after renting that the rest is cake.

I just finished doing this today. It took me way longer than I had planned but I did a lot more than just the clutch while I had it all apart including oil pan seal and rear main seal.
My biggest problem was not having a jack tall enough to lift the transmission and having to drop the axle to get the oil pan out.
I also recomend not going on three weeks of vacation while everything is appart, It makes it way more difficult to remember where things go later haha

I guess weather it is hard or not depends on your skill level and mechanical aptitude and where you live.

i have never seen a transmission jack that works with a transfer case hanging off one side.

There are lots of threads on changing clutches.

It is really nice to have help but can be done alone if need be.
