I am looking at a 03 4runner limited and was wondering if there is anything in particular to look out for. It only has 54k miles and has all records of maint. Also, will the v6 tow my 1st gen? Thanks

 

I towed my 1st Gen Truck ('81) with my old '05 Tacoma DC TRD, it did it but a fullsize truck would do it better IMO...4Runner is the same basic set up as your Taco. I would make sure the 4Runner has the basics: class iv hitch, electric brake controller, transmission cooler...
