Utilizing dead space in my 07 4Runner
I have noticed that far back window on the driver side of my rig is useless, for me anyways. I can use it to my advantage.
I carry items with me, even if not on the trail, and have actually used this stuff helping others out. Yes, that includes dead Jeeps with broke crank position sensors blocking traffic in the left lane.
I have a bag that I keep this stuff in, but no "real" place to keep it.
I scored some metal drawer pulls for a few bucks. They are even gray . Some large washers to add to both sides of the plastic panel for strength. I had to cut the screws shorter than they were, but no big deal.
Placed around the window, and went thru my pile of bungee cords.
Strap and snug down my bag of "stuff".
And now my floor is free of clutter. Well, until I go wheeling and load up my tools, air supply, etc... in a tub that I ratchet down.
Not a real "mod", per se. Just killing a few hours on a lazy Sunday afternoon.
