Should I disable keyless remote?

I lost one of the keyless remotes to my 2003 Toyota 4Runner. The store I lost it at I frequently go to. Should I disable the keyless remote (if that is even possible)? Or, if I reprogram the remaining remote will that disable the missing one?

Thank you!

I believe there should be a process to clear the stored remotes and reprogram the one you still have. You may want to stop by a dealership and ask though. I programmed a 3rd to my 06 Tacoma and it's some ridiculous process involving opening and closing the driver's door, cycling the ignition, and so on...

There is a way to clear all remotes and program just the ones you have.
Start with the driver door open and unlocked, all other doors closed, no key in ignition.
1. Key in ignition, key out
2. Key in ignition, key out
3. Close driver door, open drivers door
4. Close door, open door
5. Key in ign, key out
6. Close, open
7. Close, open
8. Key in ignition(do not turn key)
9. Close door
10. Key turned to on, key off
Perform step 10 once to add a new remote,
Perform step 10 twice to rewrite remotes(erases all stored remotes)
11. Remove key
12. Push lock and unlock on the remote to be programmed simultaneously
13. Push lock or unlock on the same remote(either button, but only one)
14. Repeat 12 and 13 for each remote.
15. Open door to finish procedure
There are certain time frames that these need to be done in but I don't remember what it is. Just do it all quickly and it should work. May take a few trys the first time. After step 11, the locks will cycle to let you know its in the correct mode.
