My New Black rims

I got my rims back from powdercoat and got them mounted today. They used to be the Titanium finished Sequoia rims, but i think they are much better like this.

I took them to americas tire to have them mounted and they said it was gonna be like $93 and change. So i dropped them off and took off for a while, when i got back they told me one of the techs scratched the hell out of one of them, but it was on the inside and not noticeable from the front. They offered to have it re-PC'd but i just asked them to take some $$ off the price. In the end they mounted, balanced and threw in lifetime rotate and balance for FREE. Needless to say i was pretty stoked. Here they are:

I still need to get some black lugs for it. Does anyone know where to get them for a good price? or should i just paint them like i did the center caps? Or maybe even just leave them as they are now?

Seriously, that looks really good! Nice move.

I think I got my black lugs at 4WP (4 wheel parts), then sold them to Tom (they were on some steel wheels I had). If you post a separate thread (if no one responds about that here) I bet someone will let you know for sure.

Make sure you get the correct lugs (I think you need hubcentric).

That looks awesome! Those are some of the nicest rims Toyota ever designed and the black powdercoat makes it look even better.

Thanks for all the compliments everyone. The more i go outside and stare at it the more i like it.

So i looked at wheelersoffroad, it doesnt really say if they are hubcentric. Would the ones on this page that are $1.25 each work? or are they different for the steel wheels?

EDIT: or would these be the ones to work?

Sweet, I'd say do it. Your runner was actually one of the first ones i saw with these rims that made me think of getting them in the first place.

It cost me $40 per rim including sandblasting and prep. Best price i could find around here by far. Other places wanted 60 per rim and they had to be blasted already.

$40 is a really good price for PC'ing... But I've got to decide if i want to stay with 17's or go back to 16's. there's not a lot of choice when you're looking for a 35x12.50R17's, but in 16's there's a lot more... but that's a ways down the road when my tires need replacing-

Those are sweet looking wheels, sounds like you got a good deal on both ends, for the Pcing and for the mounting balancing etc. Nice Runner!!!

Yeah, i was glad about the PC price, the guy had quoted me 45 per rim on the phone but when i went to pick them up he said he'd do 40 so i wasnt gonna complain. Black lugs are next. I was thinking about even doing the toyota emblems black, but im not sure if it would look quite right. The rest of it is debadged.

Real nice Runner. I think that powder coating the stock Toyota rims is a very sweet way to get them to stick out just that much more.
