Multiple CEL codes simultaneously 03 4Runner V8 4WD
I recently purchased a new camry and haven't driven my 03 4Runner much.
I took it out last night and when i got on the highway, I noticed the CEL, VSC TRAC, and VSC OFF indicators had turned on. After driving a little more, I also noticed that I was running about 3000 RPM at 70MPH which is not normal. Normally it's about 2K RPM at 70. I also noticed it didn't seem like it had all of the power that it normally has.
I checked out the codes this morning and they are as follows:
P0102 - Mass or volume Air flow circuit fault
P0113 - Intake Air temperature circuit fault - high input
P0325 - Knock sensor (KS) 1 circuit bank 1 or single cylinder
So far I've pulled the MAF sensor and cleaned it with electronics cleaner and changed the air filter since I had a spare one. I took at back out on the highway and nothing has changed. I did confirm that it is not shifting into 5th gear at highway speeds. I thought the MAF sensor may be responsible for the high RPM, and while the sensor may still be bad even though I cleaned it, I am now very concerned about the trans. I've never towed or off-roaded this vehicle. It has 144,000 miles.
I am basically really confused why all of these problems would occur simultaneously and wondering how the MAF issue may be related to the not shifting into 5th gear issue.
Any help is help!
Thanks.
