Hello, I have a 2006 V8 SE 4Runner. I notice that on some highway roads i get a low frequency droning which sounds like it is coming from the rear of the vehicle. I initially thought it might be the tires, but the noise is there even with new Michellin LTX MS2 tires on there. As I said i do not hear it on every street. When i have heard it it remains whether i am accelerating or coasting. it also doesnt seem like speed makes a difference since i can hear it at 60 miles per hour and also at 70MPH. Any thoughts? The truck has 50K miles on it.
