help ! 2013 tacoma vibration/ roaring sound at 60 mph
I am a long time Toyota owner and take pride doing my own maintenance. I just bought a 2013 double cab long bed it has 4 k miles on it. truck is like brand new. I love it except one issue.
at 58-67 mph a slight roaring comes from under my feet.... its slight but driving me crazy ... it only does it at 58-67 mph
I have replaced all 4 wheels in an attempt to pinpoint where it is coming from.
I have also had both drivehsafts balanced....
all with no luck... any ideas? and taking it back to the dealer is not an option....many thanks

Replaced wheels i.e. rims or tires? Alignment and tire balance is A-Okay?
Can you post up a clip of the sound? Sounds are the hardest thing to diagnose over the web.
Is there something loose in the suspension, skid plate, etc? Are you sure it's not air coming in thru the door or window gasket?
Welcome to YT!

its a very slight roaring nothing bad like a wheel bearing.... and its only at 58-67 mph...
im at a loss...
yes im sure its not air ...
I have checked suspension and I believe its something in the driveline considering it only happens at 58-67 mph

Wife has a 03' 4runner limited 4x4. Couple years ago it started this vibrating, usually at certain speeds. Michelins where new at the time. Checked alignment , balance of tires, even rotated tires to see if that helped. Everything checked ok and then 8 months ago my alignment guy told me it was the transfer case. Why the front driveshaft spins all the time is beyond me, just keep it simple like my CJ. Anyways, I let a local driveshaft shop look at it and they think the T.C. is the problem but told me to wait. Then the guy said when it gets real bad, I would know it and then have the case pulled and rebuilt. Estimate to rebuild was around $1200-1500 I believe which I didnt have at the time. So maybe……..
