factory srew-up?
ok, my 08 access 4x4 v6 has what i understand to be a factory tow package. reciever says TOYOTA on it. now, the wiring, of which i recieve no right turn/brake, runs in its own "conduit" up to a point where it enters the driver's floorboard in the cab.
at quick, frustrated glance, it appears this is a solid, connectorless run of wire. has anybody experienced anything like this? does anybody no of a likely culprit? there must be a controler somewhere right? or is it integral to the fuse box? im assuming integral to the fuse-box because there are towing specific fuses (2-30A) and a relay.
wtf

awesome dude i appreciate that very much. though i cant get the pdf to render, (all the others work for some reason) at least i know i can go to the dealer and buy a part (hopefully) rather than split the harness and check for breaks. . . . . . i thought i was getting away from silly electrical issues when i traded my 92 god i miss that raspy old thing.
funny:
(my neighbor upon seeing my newer truck) "Finally got a new truck huh?"
"Well, new to me i guess. . . . fits the family better."
"Thats good, seemed like you were always working on the other one"
"Well, more for fun than anything though, it actually ran fine, just a lot of preventative maintanence"
"Oh. Cant drive a lawnmower forever though."
"Thanks. . . . "
all while im underneath the new one with a multimeter. what gives?
