I installed a ReadyLift SST 3" front 2" rear and the kit came with 1" diff drop spacers. My question is do I really need to install the diff drop spacers? I went from 8" of center point clearence to 11" and if I add the diff drop I would only have 10" of clearence. The CV joints do not appear to be at much of an angle and I do not do any hard core trail riding. Obviously ReadyLift did their homework to keep the geometery inplace but is it really needed?
I would like to add that I spent weeks researching all my options and I am very happy with the Readylift SST kit 69-5060 and I got it for $300.00.

YES YES YES! It's simple to do and what's an inch of clearance if your not wheeling it hard. My CV's on my Tundra puked even with the diff drop. It does not take much to put a huge strain on those parts. No reason not to put it in.

 

I second the notion. 1 inch of clearance isn't worth the head ache of doing CV's. If you want that inch back, do some trimming if necessary and fit a two inch taller tire.
