I just picked up an 05 4Runner and the cup holder is huge! I just want it to fit a standard paper coffee cup or soda can, does anyone know of any insert rings that I could drop in to make the cup holder smaller?

 

 

You do know that it has little arms that swing out to make the cup holder smaller, right?


It took me a week to realize it too, don't feel bad.

 

Or a piece of abs or pic as an insert

 

THIS. pretty sure that ALL vehicles in the past 10yrs or more have this feature or something similar....probably so the manufacturers don't get sued when your hot coffee spills because the cupholder was too big

You're welcome. I felt pretty silly when I realized this. That said, my boss has a 5th Gen, and they actually have an insert that fits inside the big cupholders to reduce them down to soda can size. I rode in his before I got my 4th Gen, so I figured it would have the same thing.
