Bad Wheel Bearing?

Bad Wheel Bearing?
I have a vibration that is getting increasingly more noticable through the steering wheel. It feels like a mud tire on dry pavement. The thing is is that when I go into a left turn, it stops. As soon as I've straighten out, it comes back. Does anyone have a test to see if it's a bad wheel bearing. Which side does the left turn indicate may be bad?
I had the tires rotated and balanced less that 200 miles ago. When the truck was on the lift, the tech poked around a bit and told me I had some play in my upper BJ. That's my excuse for getting new UCA's!
Any feedback will be appreciated.

Jack your truck up. go to each tire and grab at 9 and 3 and see if you can wiggle it. Also check at 12 and 6. If it wiggles most likely bearings are shot. If its a humming noise could be a hub.

jack up the wheels under the lower control arm. place your hands on the tire at 12 and 6 oclock. shake the wheel to try and feel some movement. this can also determine ball joint issues. have a friend help. also, if you put your hands on 9 and 3 oclock and shake in the same fashion, this will test the tie rods. not sure what your said turn is a symptom of, but, based on what you have said, your situation sounds like either a ball joint, or a wheel bearing.
Good luck!
