5-Speed Auto Tranney swapping a 4-speed...Doable???!
The Drivetrain is a 2003 1GR-FE 4.0L V6 coupled witha 4-Speed Auto Tranney. I lost the reverse gear and I am thinking now to replace teh tranney with a 5-Speed that came on 2005 onward for that same engine!
The Q: is that doable?! Not tring to look stupid...but I wonder if I have to replace the main "CPU" too...plus may be wiring...
There gotta be some gurus out there that can give an informed opinion...thanks
