4cylinder on highway?
Hey im lookin to buy a extended cab 2wd. For my price range i cant find many that have the v6. My question is, how does the 4 cylinder perform at highway speeds. Is it real slow? and how do yall like the 4 cylinders? Its gonna be a dd goin back and forth to work. The biggest thing ill be hauling is a real small jon boat maybe 10 times a year. So towing wont be a concern

It depends on where you live.
i try and avoid interstate 4 lane roads at all cost.
During peak rush hour it does not matter because the average speed is about 5mph or stopped
At other times the speeds are between 75mph to around 100mph if being in high speed traffic as the slowest vehicle don`t bother you .
You should be good to go
good luck:jessica:

On level ground, I can run 65-75 mph @ or below 3000 rpm in 5th gear no problem with my 22re. Add in a gradual uphill grade and and I'm down into 4th or maybe 3rd gear to keep it at around 55 mph without revving it too high
Speeding tickets are ridiculous in Portland, so I look at it as a way to keep me legal
