I'm considering replacing my 2000 4Runner with a 2005 or newer mainly because I tow and I want the extra HP (185 vs 235, if I recall?). I have over 150,000 on the 2000 and she's running fine. Just thought I'd change while I can.

Any input, recommendations, considerations, things to watch out for, etc., would be appreciated.

 

i just traded my 02 4Runner (3.4l, 187hp) for an 09 tacoma (4.0l, 236hp)...the difference in power is the main reason i did it. i feel like im driving a sports car now.
