My 4runner is 15 years old and I'm thinking its time to move on, don't like the new ones at all. Put a deposit on a 15 DC short bed SR-5/towing/Radio package...

Anyone have one or a similar one, can you tell me how you like it, real world mileage..

Is frame rust still an issue? Any other issues? I have a couple days to make up my mind...

Don't own one personally, but see a lot of them on the road so I guess people are happy with them - any particular reason you're not holding out one more year to get the "new" Tacoma (bleh). expect mileage to be pretty much the same as the past 10yrs - high teens. not sure on current rust issues for frame, i think a lot had to do with the frame manufacturer at the time -- my advice is to get aftermarket undercoating to protect from rust -- i think Krown or fluid film etc is something lots of people use (i dunno i'm from CA!)
