I am preparing to change my own plugs on my '04 v-6 and have read some good posts regarding the process. Can someone tell me if it is OK to use the "E-3" plugs as the owners manual says to replace with plugs specifically with the (1 GR-FE) plugs whatever that is.

 

I just did mine couple weeks ago, it's bit of work but totally doable if you follow the steps from this link below, it has all you need to know.

I guess I never really paid attention to the manual concerning the change interval. Mine are the originals, and at about 62,000 miles they are WAY past due for a change. Thanks for the link. It was a good reminder.
