I am looking to find the factory frame dimensions for a 05+ quad cab 4x4 long bed tacoma if they are even out there. I have seen a few of the newer tacoma's with the quad cab and the 'Long bed' which is only about 6' so i am guessing that is the longest bed toyota offers for these things. I am loking for the specs because i am wanting to start a tow rig project and i want a tacoma body rather than all the full size ford, chevy, or dodge trucks you see every where. Does any one know where i can find the specs i am looking for?

Why do you want to tow with a tacoma?
You'd be better off with an 07+ tundra.

 

I like the mid sized trucks i have no need for a full size truck and as far as power or track width is concerned the project i have in mind has a diesel power plant, full width solid axles front and rear and a much heavier frame than factory equipment.
