I also replaced the foam seals used on much of the ducts with regular open-cell foam weather stripping tape from home depot or cut strips from the above roll. Just use extra glue since I noticed some of this isn't sticking well either.
Also a good time to lube all the moving parts for the blend doors, levers, cables, etc...

The cage can be seen on the far right in the picture, there is foam on both sides of this "recirculate" door from what I recall and was in bad shape.
AC evaporator was a mess too, could hardly even see any fins on the intake side from so much dirt & dust (was an Arizona truck)
