Won’t start when warm

Hey all,
New toyota owner, recently got a 94 2wd toyota pickup with the 22re. It starts great when cold, but once I drive and then stop and try to start it back up it just cranks and cranks. Sometimes a jump will help, but after it starts it seems like it isn’t getting enough fuel and just sputters out and dies. Any suggestions?

The temperature sensor that feeds the ECU and the pressure regulator? The pressure regulator? The fuel filter? Fuel pump? COR relay? VSV that feeds the pressure regulator? Vacuum line to the pressure regulator from the VSV? Vacuum line TO the VSV?
Injector(s)? Injector wiring?
Fuel pressure, and volume? IE: Either one low?

Are you getting any codes from the ECU? They might tend to isolate systems, so you can get a decent start on trouble shooting. Is the Check Engine light on? Flashing? If it is, have you cleared the codes to be sure you're seeing the newest, current codes?

Just throwing out ideas. I get so few these days, I have to get them out there fast, or they die of loneliness pretty quickly.
Good luck, and keep us up to date
