Wiring at R/B No.1 FSM = incomplete
Well I had NO rear window... (Imagine that...)
Started testing @ tail gate - ALL OK
Started looking into FSM.. I have dealer books from 1988
Found Control module at driver side rear 1/4 panel
Found 1 pin has SWITCHED IGN.... - OK
Found 1 pin has NO power (It shoudl have B+) = N OK...
Wiring diagram shows 2 total B+ inputs to module
1 is switched
1 is constant B+
I have found I have NO constant B+ at module...
did a bit more testing.....
I FIND I HAVE NO B+ FEEDING INTO R/B No.1
(Fuse panel at driver foot well)
So heres the issue.................
I have found the the fuse panel to not be getting B+ to this pin
Following my FSM Im at a dead end
It does NOT go into depth about B+ FEED from battery
Im looking to see if there is some info on wiring that supplies power to the fuse box.
ALL other fuses on panel are OK and have proper power
Im assuming that I am just going to overlay using my own B+ feed
I am concerned what other loads are about on the same B+ source
Ill get some pics if someone would like to see wiring corrosion
(I live in the rust belt....)
to yotatech
to road salt
Tek.
