Wiring harness question

I have a 1990 4 Runner SR5 4x4 and I am in need of a wiring harness for the engine compartment. My question is what years interchange for the wiring harness? Thanks for any help.

This is likely most easily solved with a call/trip to a Toyota dealer parts department. Verified by vin number, they will need it.

Easiest safest answer without using the dealership is; a 1990 4runner sr5 4x4 with the same transmission as yours.

If you’re handy with tools, electrical, and wiring diagrams anything is possible and I wouldn’t see a reason for this post.

That's gonna be a not fun job at all. Any particular reason you're wanting to replace an entire harness?
