Windshield Trim options

Yesterday i was bored at work, i washanging out by the 4runner and i got to looking at the rust area under the trim on my windsiheld. I pried a little of the corner up popped the corner piece off so i could look at the area. Well I tried to put it back on and noticed that the top trim piece has come off a quarter of the way because of me popping the corner off for inspection. So now i have the top corner not stuck back to the truck and i do not see any clips really to hold it into the frame. So what are my options to get it to stick back. Probably adhesive is best bet but i am wondering if there are any other ways to do this. I also bent my trim a touch Boy i so want to get rid of the setup and go with a rubber windshield gasket, but after reading a thread about it, it seems only a "really" good window guy can get it to work. I am nto sure bout who in my area i can get it done

Your windshield frame is probably rusting out. It's likely got holes in it already. Once the rust becomes visible on the outside, you can bet that there's a lot more hidden underneath the trim.

You can get new trim retaining clips from Toyota.

I ended up getting rid of all my trim a few years ago:
