I have one I can sell from an 02 4Runner. The only thing you will need to do is change the plug. Very easy to do. let me know if you want it, $40 plus shipping.

Might take you up on this, but where would I get the plug from if I did get it from you?

Just cut the plug off your old motor, then splice/solder the wires together.

If you can pin out the plugs, you could just switch the plastic plugs and not have to worry about cutting or soldering.

The only thing I would need is a picture of the old motor so I could get you a motor that is clocked correctly. or at least a crude drawing lol.

Passenger side motors from 80’s Celica/Supra, 87-91 Camry, and 90-95 4Runner for sure. There may be others I haven't looked at yet. 10 bucks at the local yards around here.

Well hopfully he doesn't take your incorrect advice.

The 4Runners use the same motor in the left side and gate, not the pass side. They are clocked differently.

Besides that, why would he want to install a window motor from an 80's celica? If a 94 motor failed, how good IS that 5-10 years older motor?

OLD cars with HIGH miles, vs Newer 4Runner with LOW miles.

My bad on the tailgate I knew it was the right side (post edited). As for the Celica motor I am still using a mid 80's one on my gate going on 5 years. As for high miles on a window motor I have to disagree. With our wonderful WI weather Dam cold in winter and dam humid in summer, any a/c equiped vehicle wouldn't have the years of wear and tear you might think on the windows. Just my opinion though, always check out a used motor on site most yards have a means to test them.
